SRINAGAR: Three days after senior Peoples Democratic Party leader and parliamentarian Tariq Hameed Karra resigned from both positions, the senior vice president of the party, Nisar Ahmad Mandoo, announced his resignation on Sunday.
Mandoo termed the recent civilian killings in Kashmir as “unbearable” and said he did not resign to follow the footsteps of Karra but failed to bear the pain over continues civilian killings.
“I was not pressurized by anyone over taking such kind of decision,” he said. Mandoo ruled out that he would be joining any other political party in near future.
Mandoo has served the party for 16 years.
