10th class topper scores 498 marks out of 500

SRINAGAR: Result of 10th class annual examination 2015 in Kashmir province (winter zone) of Jammu and Kashmir was declared on Saturday evening.

According to reports, Tabish Manzoor Khan of Radiant Public School, Anantnag, secured first position with 498 marks out of 500.

Aneesa Haleem of Mallinson school, Srinagar, secured second position with 491 marks and Hiba Intikhab of Shah-e-Hamdan memorial school, Shopian, secured third position with 490 marks.

The overpass pass percentage is 65.27 percent with 50.46 percent of government schools and 78.91 percent of private schools. 14,716 students of government schools passed the examination out of 29,162 students who appeared. Whereas 24,981 students of private schools passed the examination out of 31,657 students who appeared.
