SRINAGAR: Police said there would be no relaxation in the curfew and restrictions anywhere in the Kashmir valley on Thursday till further orders.
In a statement issued to media this afternoon, police said the curfew and restrictions would “remain strictly in place throughout the day”.
However, a senior police official this morning told an international news agency that curfew would be relaxed today. This, according to him, was being done “to provide relief to the people.”
Pertinently, the separatist leadership has called for shutdown in Kashmir upto 2 pm today, and have asked people to buy essentials in afternoon. Shutdown has been called for four more days from Friday.
