Cabinet likely to meet on Thursday: Likely to order major reshuffle

SRINAGAR: Amid prevailing unrest in Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir cabinet is likely to meet on Thursday evening where a major reshuffle in police and administration is on cards, sources said.

They said the cabinet would meet at civil secretariat here under chief minister Mehbooba Mufti at 6 pm. “Besides prevailing situation the cabinet would order a major reshuffle in police and administration,” sources said.

This would be second cabinet meeting during the current unrest.
