Car hits CRPF Head Constable to death in South Kashmir

Srinagar: A head constable of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) died when a vehicle hit him in Bijbehara town of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

A Mahindra Xylo vehicle bearing registration number JK03B-7938 hit and injured Amar Badadur near Eidgah, Bijbehara, an official spokesperson said. He said that the injured was shifted to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Srinagar, for treatment. However, the Constable succumbed to his injuries there.

Anantnag police has registered a case in this regard.

Meanwhile, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK22-0186 hit and injured a pedestrian Mst. Rehti, widow of Mohammad Shaban Bhat resident of Balpora, Shopian, police said. The injured woman was shifted to the hospital for treatment. Shopian police has registered a case in this regard.
