‘New Congress Party’ launched in Kashmir

Srinagar: A new political party has been launched in Jammu and Kashmir that aims to counter current State Congress Chief – Saif-u-Din Soz. The ‘New Congress Party’ was on Saturday launched by B. M. Reshi who blamed Saif-u-Din Soz of ruining Congress party in the State.

Reshi said that his party would field candidates in every constituency of the State and that it would support former Chief Minister and Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad. Azad is currently a union minister.

Reshi accused Saif-u-Din Soz of dividing Congress party in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the Congress leaders who revolve around Soz were responsible for the division of Congress party in Jammu and Kashmir and these leaders have destroyed this party of which Ghulam Nabi Azad is a part. He added that Azad had worked hard to make this party popular and people friendly in the State.

Castigating present Coalition Government for failing to address the problems of common people, Reshi said that establishments in India with whom he is in touch have promised his party that they will provide monetary help to set up different schools, colleges and other institutions where unemployed youth will get job to meet their both ends.
